Bette A. Lannan, 68, of Hampstead, NH, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 in her home. Mrs. Lannan was born in Derry, NH on April 16, 1937, a daughter of the late Alfred A. and Charlotte (Burbank) Hodgdon. She was a resident of Hampstead for the past year, formerly a lifelong Derry resident. She attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry. Mrs. Lannan was an avid gardener, a gourmet cook, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, David B. Lannan of Hampstead, two daughters, Debra Skolis of Hollis, ME, and Michele Jussif of Derry, four sons, David Lannan and A. Thomas Lannan, both of Derry, Matthew Lannan of Hampstead, and Stephen Lannan of Derry, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Patricia Morrison of Merritt Island, FL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were on Monday, April 3rd from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 4th at 10:00am in the First Parish Church, Hampstead Rd., East Derry. The burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry.
