Worcester: Kevin J. Anderson, (Papa) 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2021 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 52 years Margo A. (Legare) Anderson; a daughter Kristi Taylor and her husband Jeffrey of Worcester; 2 grandchildren- Jerame Taylor and his wife Jackie, and Ke'Anna Taylor; 2 great grandsons- Xavier and Gabriel Taylor; 2 sisters- Janice Morgan of Gardner and Barbara Gross of TX; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a son Patrick J. Anderson and by siblings Karl and James Anderson and Patricia Allen.
Kevin was born in Worcester, son of the late Karl H. and Catherine R. (Savage) Anderson. He graduated from Athol High School and attended the University of South Carolina and Clark University. He proudly served his country in the US Marines. He worked as a contractor of transportation with many trucking companies over the years. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 11 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin's memory may be made to Veterans Inc. 69 Grove St. Worcester or to the Lupus Foundation.
