FALL RIVER…Joanne C. (Witt) Silvester, 74, of Fall River passed away June 12, 2021 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late John Silvester.
Born in Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of the late George and Doris (Levison) Witt.
Mrs. Silvester had worked for several years as a CNA. She had enjoyed camping, dancing, shooting, horseback riding and playing Bingo. Above anything else, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children: John Silvester, Charles Silvester, Robin Rogers, Tammy Silvester, and Sherry Silvester, all of Fall River; her grandchildren: Shannon, Kaitlyn, Holly, Arianna, Britney, Henry, Dillon, Felicia, Ronald, Angel and Nathan; 9 great grandchildren; her sisters: Carol Murphy of Fall River, Marie Widener of Boston, Georgine Brack of Boston and Cecilia Witt of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Ashley Cioe and sister of the late Doreen Flannery, Lillian Healey and Jeanie Clinton.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11 AM - 1 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. A prayer service will start at 1 PM. Cremation will follow.
