Limerick - Paul S Cobbett, age 67, passed away on June 8, 2021 at Gosnell House in Scarborough after a long history of health issues.
He was born in Porter, Maine on October 18, 1953, a son of the later Robert and June (Huntress) Cobbett.
Paul attended Sacopee Valley High School before going to work as a teen to help support his family after the sudden passing of his father. He married Pennie on April 28, 1972. He was a very hard worker and remained with an employer for many years. He worked at Overhead Door in Portland, Maine from 1997 until his health declined in 2019.
Paul enjoyed fishing, car rides, taking care of his home, cars and yard, watching court shows and being with his family especially his 3 grandchildren Dylan, Brayden and Kylie. They were the light of his life and had Grampa wrapped around their pinkies. He looked forward to Florida trips, Camping and annual trips to Boothbay Harbor with family. He beamed with pride when talking and sharing pictures or stories about his grandkids. He also made a mean breakfast of bacon and eggs with the eggs fried in the bacon grease.
Paul was predeceased by his father Robert Cobbett Sr and his mother June Cobbett Lane.
Paul is survived by his wife Pennie Gammon Cobbett. His daughter, Michelle Cobbett of Standish. Siblings Robert and his wife Pat of Windham; Brian and his wife Joyce of Lebanon, Grace and Timothy. Also 3 grandchildren, Dylan Cobbett of Scarborough and Brayden and Kylie Cobbett of Standish.
