LEICESTER: Donna M. (Orciani) Robertson, 72, beloved mother and grandmother, died Thursday, June 10, after a courageous battle against Cancer.
She leaves her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Robertson, her sons; Alan J. Robertson and his wife Elena of East Setauket, NY and Brian W. Robertson and his wife Joy of Westford, a brother Joseph P. Orciani of West Boylston, a sister Judith Beshire and her husband Phillip of Charlton, four grandchildren; Connor, Aiden, Ella and David as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was born in West Boylston, daughter of Joseph P. and Helen (Higgins) Orciani. She later graduated from West Boylston High School and Salter Secretarial College. A resident of Leicester for nearly fifty years, she was a member and former secretary at the First Congregational Church in Worcester and most recently was an insurance broker at Midstate Insurance in Worcester for over 20 years before retiring in 2019. She was an avid golfer, Patriots fan, bowler and loved caring for her flowers, garden and feeding the wild birds in her yard. She deeply loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, whom she adored.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 16th. at the First Congregational Church in Worcester, 1070 Pleasant Street, Worcester at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester.
