Rose J. (Puopolo) Faliero, a long-time Medford resident, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was 88.
Rose was born and raised in Boston’s North End the daughter of the late Marino and Angelina (Marcella) Puopolo. Rose lived in Medford for nearly 50 years and was dedicated to the care of her family and enjoyed the company of her dear friends.
She was the wife of the late Domenic “Fitzi” Faliero. She was a devoted mother to Michael Faliero and his wife Jan Pousland of Stoneham, Lorraine Russell and her husband Ronald of Hampstead, NH and the late Donna Faliero. She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was a dear friend to Jo-Ann and Angelo Buonagurio of Malden and is also survived by her son Domenic Faliero.
Relatives and friends may visit Sunday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral mass will be sung at 10 AM in St. Francis Of Assisi Church,Medford,Monday, with the Reverend Joseph Foster, presiding. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
