FRAMINGHAM: Lawrence B. “Larry” Armour, Jr., 71, died peacefully and comfortably on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Manor following a period of declining health.
He was born in Boston on August 1, 1949 the son of the late Lawrence B. Armour, Sr. and Rita (Sullivan) Armour.
Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patricia A. (McColgan) Armour of Framingham.
He was the brother of Theresa Mitchell and her husband Gary of Marshfield and Elaine DeNardo and her husband Butch of Fall River. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Larry spent his formative years in Pembroke and graduated from Silver Lake High School in Pembroke. For several years he resided in Quincy and New Hampshire before moving to Framingham 31 years ago.
Prior to his retirement, he was associated with the Maintenance Department as a Janitor as Westborough State Hospital. For many years, he worked in the “Twinkie” division at Wonder Bread Bakery in Natick. He enjoyed walking the Natick Mall everyday, being on the computer playing games, and time spent with his wife watching movies. He and Patricia loved to spend countless hours in the car riding to many different destinations and always had music playing. He was also a member of the Natick AmVets. Larry was a kind and devoted husband to Patricia and always placed his family before anything else in his life.
Visitations will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 am on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday at The Church of St. George, 74 School Street, Framingham.
Interment to follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery in the Armour family lot.
At the request of his family all are asked to wear face coverings during visitations at the funeral home and during Mass and Interment.
