Obituary

Attorney Kenneth Francis "Ken" D'Arcy, a resident of Melrose and formerly of Winchester and Cambridge, died peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Belmont Manor Nursing Center. He was 85 years of age.

Born in Cambridge formerly of Winchester, Ken ran cross country for Cambridge Rindge and Latin, graduated from Harvard College and New England School of Law while working full-time and raising his family. Ken was married to the late Mary Anne Donnelly for forty one years and is survived by his three daughters, Shannon D'Arcy of Aspen, Colorado, Michelle Goode of Windermere, Florida and Alicia Sweet of Delray, Florida; along with three grandchildren, Mallory Meloy, Kyle Goode and Darcy Goode. A tenacious defense attorney practicing in Suffolk and Middlesex counties for over thirty years. Ken was an avid tennis player, lover of Boston and was thrilled in an almost disbelieving way of the many successes and championships in the new century. He was a man of good humor and quick to strike up a conversation with friend and stranger alike.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ken's Graveside Service on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Holy Hood Cemetery, 584 Heath St. Brookline, Mass. (PLEASE MEET INSIDE MAIN ENTRANCE OF CEMETERY BY 10:45 A.M.)
