Richard “Lee” Roberts, 44, of Tifton passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, in Omega. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Murray Hand officiating. Mr. Roberts will be laid to rest in a private, family, graveside service at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Drew Fields, Cody Johnson, Trent Ray, Chris Boyd, Ryan Faaborg and Donnie Gilder will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 28, 1976, in Tifton, Mr. Roberts was the son of Richard Mark “Rickey” Roberts of Tifton and the late Sara Mae Steadman Roberts. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Angela Marie Turk. He was a master tech and had worked with Prince Automotive Honda Group for 22 years. He loved his children, his wife and his family and he was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
In addition to his father, Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Crystal Gayle Faaborg Roberts of Tifton; three sons, James Dorman of Ty Ty and Jacob Conner Roberts and Hunter Austin Roberts, both of Tifton; one daughter, Khloe Leigh Roberts of Tifton; one sister, Katie Iveen Roberts of Tifton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Daniel Nathan and Chasitie Brieann Roberts of Enigma and Kenneth Fletcher of Tifton; three nephews, Richard Eric Boyd, Ethan Grant Boyd and Cameron Powers; and one niece, Sara Emily Golden.
