PORTLAND- Richard Lee Field Sr., born 12/16/52 to Robert Field and Marlene (Farmer) Gramlich from Portland, Maine. Richard was a lover of football ,baseball and basketball. He took his kids out of recreation one day to meet the 1982 Boston Celtics at Dimillo’s restaurant in Portland and got their autographs. He loved life, his family ,and friends. He was the salesman of all salespeople ( he could sell anything ). He married his children’s mother Patricia Dorney in 1974 and even though it ended 9 short years later the two remained good friends. Even attending each other’s 2nd weddings. He helped raised his 2 stepchildren of his 2nd marriage and loved the two as his own. He is predeceased by parents, brothers Edward, Michael and Robert. He is survived by his brother Larry, his children Richard Field Jr., Adrienne Hunter, James Moran, and Danielle Niles. Grandchildren Kiara, Aviana, Samantha, Avah, Kaidyn, James, and great grandchildren Rebekka and Santei. There will be a celebration of life to be determined later in the summer. Thanks to the staff at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough for his end of life care.
