Obituary

Windham - Beverly J. Langlois, 83, of Windham died at her home on June 1, 2021 with her husband by her side, as he had been constantly for the past two months. She was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on October 25, 1937 to Donald and Virginia (Koch) Rawson. She attended Wisconsin schools and graduated from high school in Oswego, New York. She went on to attend Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston. She married Edmund Langlois on November 25, 1956.

Beverly was a homemaker for many years. She also did childcare for others out of her home for several years during that time. She later worked at St. Joseph's Manor in Portland for ten years as a nurses' assistant.

She enjoyed crafts including knitting and crocheting. She also liked reading, doing puzzles and camping with her husband and family. Beverly will be sadly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.

Her mother died when she was very young and she was raised by her father and her loving stepmother, Eleanor. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Cindy Brown.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 64 years, Edmund Langlois of Windham. Three children: Toni Sawyer and her husband Michael of Windham, Adrian Langlois and his fiance Brittany Linton of Florida, and Craig Langlois of Gorham. Her sister, Deborah Holz of Wisconsin. Three granddaughters: Ashley Provencher, Justine Langlois and Carlene Langlois. Two great grandchildren, Christian and Addyson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be on Thursday, June 10, at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Cornish. Arrangements are by Poitras, Neal and York Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.mainefuneral.com
