Richard L. Haney of Provincetown passed away peacefully in his home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday June 2nd, 2021. He was the spouse of Edward Criscuolo.
Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Grace (Young) Haney. After college, Richard pursued his passion, which was healing others through medical massage and acupuncture. He was a lover of the arts and an artist himself, taking great joy working in many different mediums. Richard loved spending his time walking with his dog Buck in the Dunes. He also enjoyed reading, listening to audio books and doing jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to his loving partner of 45 years, Edward, he is survived by sisters Linda (David) Curtis and Susan Halas. Nieces Meagan Curtis and Katie Haney, his favorite silly, goofy great-niece Piper Kopp and his dearest friend Genevieve Martin also survive him.
At Richards request, services will be private.
