Ruby M. (Moulton) Clemente of Carlisle was called home on Tuesday June1st, 2021. A resident of Wind Rose Assisted Living Memory Care facility in Woburn, MA when she passed, Ruby spent the past seven years receiving care from immediate family and the community of staff and caregivers at the Wind Rose facility. The quality of care provided to her throughout her stay was nothing short of “God-like.”
Ruby Mae Clemente (nee Moulton) was born on Jay Street in Somerville, MA in 1934, the fourth and youngest child born to Ethel and Albert Moulton, founder of Moulton’s Seafood on High Street, Medford, MA. She married Joseph Clemente of Medford, MA and together they raised a family for forty three years.
A graduate of Medford High School, Ruby was an accomplished jeweler who specialized in engagement rings and wedding bands. With her innate sense of style, unique vision and an uncanny ability to see the beauty in all things, Ruby was a true artist. Ruby had an unlimited capacity for love. It showed in all of her creations whether it be her children or the memories she helped create for an extraordinary clientele while working at the iconic Jeweler’s Building in downtown Boston for forty years.
Ruby was most passionate about summers spent on Lake Winnipesaukee, boating and the sea, music and dance, the Catholic Church, and providing a formal education for each of her five children. Known for her inner and outer beauty she was aptly named. Ruby Clemente was a rare and precious gem to all who knew her.
Ruby was the angelic Mother to five children; Rose Ann, Marylou, Janet, Blaise and Christine; loving sister to Louise Morgan; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Canadian relatives and friends. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday, June 9th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
