Mary Elizabeth (Wallace) Geary, 66, of Millis died peacefully on May 31st at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Paul C. Geary for the past thirty seven years.

Born in Boston, September 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Blackburn) Wallace, Mrs. Geary was raised in Watertown and was a proud Millis resident for the past twenty six years.

She had been a CCD teacher at Thomas Church in Millis and was always at her children’s sporting events when they were young. She was an active member of the community while her children were growing up.

Some of her fondest memories were summer games of Bocci with her siblings on the beach in York, Maine, date nights with her husband Paul, hosting holiday parties, and going to lunch with friends and family. Her grandson Thomas was one of the greatest joys of her life, and she spent the last four years watching him grow.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her five children, Paul C. Geary III of Columbus, Ohio, Michael W. Geary of Franklin, Kyle J. Geary of Millis, Lauren E. Geary of Millis, and Mary Kate Geary of Millis.
