July 31, 1935 – May 28, 2021
Kaye died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Survived by Tom, devoted husband of 65 years, children LeeAnn (Jack) Myhra, Mick (Geri), Timmy (Susan), John (Liz), and Mary (Steve) Appel. Grandma K to 23 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchilden. Also survived by brothers Larry and Jim Bonniwell. Preceded in death by siblings Pat Haggerty and Mike Bonniwell. Kaye had a lifelong devotion to Jesus and His Blessed Mother, was a 40-year member of the Schoenstatt Marian movement, fought for the unborn, and tirelessly distributed green scapulars to all she met in the hopes of bringing complete strangers to God. She loved animals and enjoyed bowling, golf, and softball, taking the pitcher’s mound until she was 78 years old. She had great pride in her large family and was active in the lives of each member, attending games and recitals, offering advice and working diligently to help solve their challenges. She took tens of thousands of photos, making sure everyone got a copy. Kaye will be sadly missed by all who were on the receiving end of her love and hospitality. J+M+J
Visitation Wed., June 2, 4-7PM at Sandberg Funeral Home in North St. Paul. Mass of Christian burial 10:30AM, Thurs., June 3 at the Church of Saint Agnes, in St. Paul. Additional visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Private burial to follow.
