Obituary

Worcester- Halina S. (Dombrowski) Sinasky, 78, of 110 Vernon Street, died Monday, July 22, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.

Her husband, Henry A. Sinasky, died in December. She leaves two sons, Henry M. Sinasky and Joseph G. Sinasky, both of Worcester; two daughters, Catherine S. Shapiro of Cranston, Rhode Island, and Halina H. Suitum of Worcester; a grandson; nephews and nieces. She was born in Wilno, Poland, daughter of Joseph and Kazimira (Mikolajczyk) Dombrowski and lived Millbury, before moving to Worcester many years ago. She graduated from Millbury High School.

Mrs. Sinasky was a unit secretary at St. Vincent Hospital for 26 years, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish.

The funeral will be held Friday, July 26, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com), 33 Ward Street, with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, in the funeral home.
