Joseph P. Quint, Jr., 84, of Westport, passed away at home on Thursday, May 27, 2021 following a long illness. He was the husband of the late Jane (Hansen) Quint.
Mr. Quint was born in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Joseph P. and Agnes (Cambra) Quint and had resided in Westport for most of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist for Brown & Sharpe, Providence. He enjoyed going to Buttonwood Park and driving to the beach. He also liked working on his house, being out in the yard and tinkering with cars.
The Family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Southcoast VNA for the compassionate care they gave to Mr. Quint.
Survivors include his 4 sons: Joseph P. Quint, III of Tiverton, David P. Quint of Dartmouth, William H. Quint of Westport and Christopher J. Quint of Dartmouth; his daughter: Linda Sinclair of Westport; 2 brothers: Franklin Quint of AR and Michael Quint of MO; 2 granddaughters: Sara and Samantha; and a great grandson: Jayse.
He was the father of the late Dale W. Quint.
