Obituary

Rodgers, Lorraine of Quincy March 27, 2006.

Beloved daughter of Marie (Senna) Rodgers of Quincy and the late Walter Rodgers. Loving sister of Marie Rodgers and Carl Rodgers both of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Visitation prior to the Mass.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Lorraine died of kidney cancer at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Lorraine was an ardent Anglophile, and she traveled extensively throughout Great Britain, Canada, and continental Europe. She also enjoyed creative writing, reading, art, interior decorating, and figure skating.

In April 2005, she won the United States Figure Skating Adult National Championship in the Bronze Ladies III category.

She received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with honors in English from Harvard University Extension School in 1998.

She had been employed at Fidelity Investments since 1984 and was working as a web producer in the area of Interactive Marketing up until a couple of weeks ago.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ms. Rodgers may be made to Saint Patrick's Parish, PIN Fund, 10 Magazine St., Roxbury, MA 02119.
