Obituary

SPRINGFIELD – John J. Cuoco, 63, of the Forest Park section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Springfield on May 17, 1958, a beloved son of the late Frank E. and Gertrude H. (Rheome) Cuoco. He was raised and educated in Springfield and was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He was a self-employed General Contractor for many years in the Springfield area. He was a former member of the Melha Shrine and a former member of the Carpenters Local, both in Springfield. Most of all, he was a quiet man who loved his family and his many friends. He leaves his former wife, Deborah J. (Pajak) Davies; his two loving children, Christine M. LaBonte and John A. Cuoco and his wife, Josephine; his seven cherished grandchildren, Aidan and Caitlyn LaBonte and Ryan, Andrew, Nathan, Bradley and Chloe Cuoco; his two dear brothers, Frank Cuoco and Paul Cuoco; his dear sister, Angelina Pajak and her husband, Edward; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his dear brother, Michael Cuoco. His relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107.
