Yvette R. Gravel passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2021 at Evergreen Place in Manchester, NH.
Born September 14, 1921 to the late Isidore and Blanche Lanseigne in Manchester.
After her retirement from Pandora she kept very busy with her interests in genealogy and Manchester history, putting together a well researched collection of Manchester post cards and many other states.
She also had been an avid gardner and crocheter. She was a long time communicant of St. Anthony’s.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Fortin of Brewer, Maine and two grandchildren, Roger Fortin of Brewer, Maine, and Barbara (Rob) Richard of Bangor, Maine.
She was lovingly referred to as “Memere Cookie” by her four great grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Alex and Kimberly.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1996, her sister Lily Morrissette of California and her son-in-law, Rene in 2018.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Evergreen Place where she made her home for the past nine years. The care and love they showed her was exceptional and she considered all as her family.
Per her wishes, there are no calling hours. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
