Doris A. (Lamontagne) Sweren, 87, died May 20, 2021 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on September 1, 1933 the daughter of George and Antoinette (Duhaime) Lamontagne.
Prior to her retirement she was a seamstress for Pandora Industries and J.R. Langley.
She enjoyed crafts, embroidery, camping and spending winters in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Sweren in 1989, her son, John Sweren in 2007 and a brother, Roland Lamontagne.
Family members include her two grandchildren, Stefan Sweren, his wife, Ashleigh, and Christina Sweren, a great granddaughter, Nora Sweren, two brothers; Richard and Paul Lamontagne, one sister; Pauline Crain, her longtime friend, Margaret Savage, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12 pm in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Ave., Manchester.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Amedisys Home Health Care for the wonderful support they provided for Doris.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
