Lorraine M. Lees, a lifelong resident of Andover, passed away at the Prescott House in North Andover on Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021. She was 86 years old.
Born In Lawrence, Massachusetts, on October 5, 1934, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold and Corinne (Rajotte) Lees. She was a graduate of Puchard High School in Andover. Ms. Lees was a Navy veteran, entering the military at Boston on July 21, 1953 and received her honorable discharge from Pensacola, Florida on December 31, 1955. In civilian life, Lorraine was a Film Developer, for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed all sports, playing basketball and collecting many items. She will be dearly missed.
Lorraine is survived by her loving sisters; Virginia Ramsey of Andover and Mildred Mosher of Virginia and brother; Lawrence Jimmy Earley of Methuen and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 11AM. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service from 9 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
