STANDISH- Jane S. Chartier Dantrowaski, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth.
She was born at her parent’s home in Gorham on Dec. 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Roland and Myrtle (Irish) Sanborn and graduated from Gorham High School.
Jane worked with her husband throughout her working years at their family farm- Chartier Farms.
Jane was an accomplished oil painting artist, enjoyed knitting, cooking, antique collecting, travelling, decorating, country music, working in her flower gardens and spending time with her beloved children.
She is predeceased by two children- Troy and Dana Chartier; all her siblings- Everett Benson, Marion Ashey, Daniel Sanborn, Gloria Spidel, and Barbara Brown; and a grandson- Heath Brulotte.
Jane is survived by her children- Mark Chartier of Standish, Lori Brulotte of Limington, Mala Keene of Standish, and Todd Chartier of Standish; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sedgewood Commons and all of Jane's caregivers for their care and support.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 22 at 3 PM at North Street Cemetery in Gorham.
