Robert “Bob” Rutkiewicz, 70, of Worcester died peacefully on Monday, May 10th surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves four sisters, Marie Parse of Ludlow, Linda Favreault and her husband, David of Eugene, Oregon, Karen Buskey, and JoAnne Donahue and her husband, James all of Auburn; many nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.
He was born in Worcester the son of Anthony V. and Madeline M. (Turcotte) Rutkiewicz. Bob graduated from St. Peter’s High School and attended the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He worked for TJMAXX Distribution Center. Bob was an avid sports fan but especially loved the Red Sox and the NY Giants. He enjoyed spending time outside and doing the NY Times crossword puzzles.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
