LEICESTER: Nora F. (Reidy) Missiewicz, 88, of White Birch Street, died Friday, May 7 in Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.
Her husband John Missiewicz, died in 1997. She leaves a son John Missiewicz and his wife Sharon of Leicester, two grandchildren; Thomas & John Missiewicz, a sister Mary Slattery and her husband Paul of Ireland and a cousin George Reidy and his wife Toni of Florida, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son William Missiewicz and a brother Thomas Reidy.
Nora was born in County Clare, Ireland, the daughter of Thomas and Nora (Keyes) Reidy. She was an accountant at H&R Block for many years, retiring at the age of 80. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 11 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM in the funeral home.
