Robert E. "Eldon" Jackson, 75, of Chesterfield passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie.
He was born on January 23, 1946 in Rushville the son of Robert A, and Fern (Sipe) Jackson. He worked as a millwright for General Motors for 41 years, retiring in 2006. He served in the US Marine Corp Reserves and enjoyed watching and attending sporting events and vacationing.
He is survived by his son, Rob (Tina) Jackson of Fortville, three grandchildren; Chris Jackson, Travis (Allison) Burnett, Nathan Jackson; seven great grandchildren and one on the way; a brother Richard (Brenda) Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole A. (Todd) Jackson on April 24, 2021 and his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 4 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson. Pastor Phil Edwards will officiate the service. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 PM prior to the funeral.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors.
