Francis B. Fisher, 78, of New Bedford died May 4, 2021 after a brief illness at Savoy Nursing Home.
Born in Boston, son of the late Wiliam Fisher and Virginia A. (Williams) Joseph, he lived in Boston most of his life.
He enjoyed his work at the Dimock Community Center in Boston, where he worked for many years until his retirement.
Survivors include his brother, Anthony Joseph of Lynn; 2 sisters, Dorothy Watson of Brockton and Carol Joseph of Pawtucket; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His private arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
