Mary (Aloise) Juffre passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 4th. She was 99. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Mancuso) Aloise. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend she lived in Medford most of her life. Mary was proud to have served for 30 years as a lunch mother in the Medford Public Schools and is fondly remembered by her former pupils.
The beloved wife of 73 years to the late Charles L. Juffre, Mary passed away exactly one year after her beloved husband. Mary was a devoted mother to Charles S. Juffre of Medford and the late Stephen Juffre and his surviving wife Michelle. She was a loving grandmother to Christopher and his son Nathan, Ariel, and Laura and her children: Taylor and Samantha. Mary was the dear sister of Gene Spatola, Rosalie Matochio, the late Eleanor Scimone, Peter Aloise and John Aloise.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday May 8th from 1 – 2 PM with a funeral service conducted in the funeral home at 2 PM.
Burial will be private.
