She was born in New York City on March 27, 1945 and raised in West Newton. As a teenager she loved music and dancing. She was blessed with a beautiful voice. She was her sister Barbara’s hero.

She married the love of her life in 1988 where they resided in Severna Park, Maryland. She enjoyed gardening, hosting out of town family and taking them for cruises along the Severn River, cooking and genealogy. She very much enjoyed connecting with close neighbors and friends, as well as, distance relatives who helped her piece together a beautiful tapestry of our family history.

In 2013 she and her husband returned to their home state of Massachusetts to enjoy time with their children, sisters and loving mother Ophelia, who is now 101. Despite all the complications that came from the Rheumatoid arthritis, she faced life with a greater determination than ever to enjoy every day. She loved to play games with her grandchildren.
