Paul T. Gibbs, age 56, passed away on May 1, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center of natural causes. He was born on Sept. 10, 1964 in Springfield, a son of the late Howard A. Gibbs Jr., and Phyllis E. (Hartman) Gibbs Zeno. Paul attended Springfield Schools. He worked as a truck driver for Truck Star for many years. He was an avid football and sports fan. He is survived by his son Wayne Gibbs and his wife Danielle of Palmer; 1 brother Nicholas Zeno of Pittsfield; 1 sister, Mary Ellen Katopis and her husband Chris of Bradenton, FL along with 2 beloved grandchildren, Aubrie and Amelia, and his nieces Isabella and Skylar and 1 nephew Bruce. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
