Marjorie Walker Dale, 93, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, May 3, 2021, at Tifton Health and Rehabilitation Services in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 3PM, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Brent Duncan and the Rev. Jimmy Cargle officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Dale was born November 12, 1927, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late John & Dolly Bell Day Walker. She was a homemaker and worked for Monarch and H.R. Kaminsky & Sons, Inc. as a seamstress and a floor supervisor. Mrs. Dale was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Curtis Allen “Butch” & Evelyn Dale of Fitzgerald and Mildred Elaine Dale of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Ricky Morgan, Linde Mitchell & Rusty, Curtis Allen Dale, Jr. & Nanette, Kristy Dale and Rachel Dale; great-grandchildren: Michael Morgan, Dylan & Erica Morgan, Eli Mitchell & Patience, Abby Mitchell, Austin Dale, Charley Dale and Conner Dale; great-great-grandchild, A.J. Morgan and a sister-in-law, Vermell Dale Ellison of Zephyrhills, Florida. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Franklin Dale.
