Margaret A. Gault, died on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford after a lengthy illness. she was 90 years old.
Margaret was born on March 31, 1912, the daughter of the late John and Anne (Scott) Watt in Scotland. Mrs. Gault moved to the United States with her family when she was still a young child and had lived in Medford for more than 58 years.
She had been employed for more than 40 years as a clerk. During her employment she worked for Signet Club Plan and most recently, John Hancock Insurance Company.
Mrs. Gault was a past member of the Ladies Auxilliary of Scottish Clans and the Daughters of Nova Scotia. She also was avid in knitting and sewing and made most of her daughters clothing thru their high school years.
Mrs. Gault was the beloved wife of the late Francis Gault. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by her two daugthers and two sons in laws: Margaret F. and Edmund F. Donnelly of Westford and Carol A. and Daniel S. Tavanese of Medford; two sisters; Catherine Murphy of Medford and Jessie Collins of Dedham; six grandchildren: Joseph, Daniel, and Lynne Tavanese and Patricia Kearney, Margaret Engberg and Melissa Falconer and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours, Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, W. Peabody.
