Obituary

Thomas W. Pease, 78, of Halifax Massachusetts, died on May 2nd at home, surrounded by his family.

Tom was born in Brockton Massachusetts in 1943. He was the son of George W. Pease and Frances (White Johnson) Pease.

He graduated from Brockton High School in 1962 and spent 30 years working as a truck driver, most of those years working for Cirelli Foods, in Brockton.

Tom loved camping, and he spent many years enjoying this with his family and friends. He also enjoyed crafts, especially making dream catchers for his family. He was also a friend of Bill W. for the last 33 years.

He was married to his high school sweetheart and love his life, Dorothy (Loughlin) Pease for 56 years. He also leaves behind his daughters Catherine Pendleton, of Brockton, Deborah Pease, of Taunton, Cynthia Colombo and her husband Jack Colombo, of Brockton, and Sandra Donovan, of East Taunton. He is predeceased by his brothers Richard Pease, Robert (Bob) Pease, George Pease, and his sister Judith Will. He is survived by his sister Helen Mae Nash, of Whitman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, whom he adored – Ashley Pendleton, of Middleboro, Nicole Pendleton of Hoboken, New Jersey, Shane Pease and Nicholas Corkren of Taunton, Brianna and Victoria Colombo, of Brockton, Gwen Mason of Taunton, Sean Paul Donovan of Rehoboth, Jessica Donovan, of Loudon, New Hampshire, Abraham and Xavieria Donovan of Dedham, and Thomas Donovan of East Taunton.

Relatives and friends are invited for visiting hours at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary) in Whitman, MA on Wednesday May 5th from 4pm-7pm. They are also invited to attend his memorial service on Thursday May 6th at 11am at the Grace Church, 237 West Center St. (Route 106 at Hockomock Plaza), West Bridgewater. Burial will be private.
