STANDISH- Paul Scott Deschaine, 53, passed away on April 27th surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
Paul was a kind, dependable man with a strong, peaceful personality. He was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on September 9, 1967 to Jefferson Davis Grona of El Paso, Texas and Helen Waddell of Rockport, Massachusetts.
In addition to Massachusetts, he also lived in Texas and Florida. Eventually, his family moved to Maine where Paul graduated from Windham High School in 1985.
Outside of work as an instrument technician at IDEXX, Paul had a constantly changing array of interests and hobbies. He greatly enjoyed getting outdoors to kayak, hike, and take walks by the ocean. He also played bass guitar, darbuka, and Native American flutes.
He will be sorely missed by his wife Dorina, son Jadon Grona (USAF), and stepson Hunter. Additionally, he has many close friends that will feel his absence.
Rest easy Paul. You are loved so very much.
