Piacentini, Louisa N. (Niccoli) of Wellesley April 27, 2021 passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at the age of 90. Louisa was born on November 10th, 1930 to Charles and Mary Niccoli of Wellesley. She was a 1948 graduate of Wellesley High School and worked for many years in the Billing Department of F. Diehl and Son. Louisa was married to her late husband Piero Piacentini for 63 years. They raised one daughter, Anne Piacentini-McGill of Natick. Louisa kept a strong faith and regularly attended mass at Saint Paul’s Church in Wellesley. She deeply valued family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louisa enjoyed cooking delicious Italian food for her loved ones, a tradition she passed down too many. Louisa is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Piero Piacentini, her mother and father Mary and Charles Niccoli, her sister Jennie Resteghini and brother-in-laws John Resteghini, Richard Lizotte and Ezio Piacentini. Louisa is survived by her daughter Anne Piacentini-McGill and son-in-law Robert Scott McGill, her brother Joseph Niccoli, her sister Mary Lizotte, her sister-in-law Daria Marcellini, her brother-in-law Benito Piacentini. Her loving grandchildren Melissa McGill Coelho and her husband Michael Coelho, Kimberly McGill Rebula and her husband Thomas Rebula, and Matthew McGill, and her great-grandchildren David and Nathan Coelho and Ronan Rebula.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass at Saint Paul’s Church, Wellesley on Tuesday, May 4, at 11am. Interment in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
