New Bedford –Deolinda M. (Ferreira) Cardoza, died Sunday March 26, 2006at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mrs. Cardoza was the wife of Paul Cardoza. She was the mother of Jose P. Rocha, and the late Arturo F. Rocha. She was the sister of Maria doSantos of St. Michael, Azores, Sofia Ferreira of Santa Teresa, Montreal. She was the sister of the late Francelina, Diamentina, Alzira, Jeremias, Antonio, and Manuel Ferreira. Also she had several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Cardoza had six Grand and seven great grand Children.
Mrs. Cardoza was born in St. Michael, Azores., Portugal. She was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria (daRosaaria) Ferreira.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday March 30 at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 5to8 P.M., on Wednesday March 29, 2006 at Perry Funeral Home.
