FALL RIVER – Lawrence “Wayne” Boyd, age 60, passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on April 26, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Annmarie (Cabral) Boyd. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of the late Eugene and Elmon (Plair) Boyd. Wayne loved to go to the gym. He especially liked to play basketball. He also loved to spend time with his family.
Along with his wife he is survived by his daughters Nicole Jasmin Boyd of Houston, TX, Sonja Marie Boyd of Warren, RI, and Jasmine Rose Boyd of Fall River; brothers Michael Boyd and Timothy Lane. He was predeceased by his brother Eugene Boyd Jr.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Monday, May 3rd with extended calling hours from 10 A.M. -12 P.M. followed by service at 12:00 P.M.
