Obituary

Frank M “Poncho” Lobisser passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021 at the age of 69. Frank was the beloved husband of Jodi (Szafir) Lobisser for the past 46 years. Born in Framingham MA on March 31, 1952 he was the beloved son of the late Frank J and Rose (Damigella) Lobisser.

A lifelong resident of Medway, Frank graduated from Medway High School in 1972. He spent the majority of his career as a highly respected Oil Burner Technician, ultimately retiring as the proud owner of F.M. Lobisser Heating. He was the rock of his family, always there to help anyone. His smile and laughter were infectious. While quiet and reserved Frank had a flare for jokes and pulling pranks on his family and friends. Frank grew up on the family farm and had a love for all things John Deere, and was the proud owner of several classics. He was always up for an excursion anywhere from going to New Bedford to Texas.

Those who know Frank know that his true passion in life was his family. He leaves behind his beloved girls Jennifer and her husband Nick Hurder of Bellingham, Brenda and her husband Chris Campbell of Mansfield, Rebecca Lobisser of Medway, Jessica Lobisser of Medway, Jodi and her husband Paul Sundquist of Norfolk and Frances Lobisser of Woonsocket, RI. He was the proud and loving Grampa & Papa to Holly and her husband Doug, Jessie, Jacob, Hailee, Erika, Zach, Grace, Joey, Brooke, Michael, Addison, Nicholas, Kevin, Madelynne, John, PJ, Reagan, Cassie, Damien, Jamison, Callie and his 3 Great Grandchildren Bryson, Andrew and Baby Lobisser due 10/2021.

Frank is also survived by his 8 sisters, 5 brothers and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

His funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 30 in St. Joseph Church Medway at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 29 from 4-8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway. Please follow all required Covid-19 guidelines including face coverings and social distancing.
