Jean Michelet Polynice, age 70, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, April 21st. Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the son of the late Monclair and Carmen (Remy) Polynice. Jean immigrated to the US in 1988. He was the most loving father, and brought all his children to the US from Haiti. Jean worked for many years as a bus driver.
Jean was the devoted father of Wadner, Mirlaine, Kettelene, Ketteline, Sheila and Guerline Polynice. He was the loving grandfather of 12, and is also survived by many loving brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held in the Philadelphie Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 575 Main St., Malden on Friday, May 14th from 10 to Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the church from 9 through 10 AM. Social distance customs will be observed. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
