East Bridgewater- Barbara Mae (Brown) Danforth, 76, of E. Bridgewater died Friday, March 24, 2006, at Life Care Center in West Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Ralph P. Danforth Sr.
Born and raised in Easton, she was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, Class of 1947.
Mrs. Danforth worked at FootJoy Co. in Brockton and also drove a school bus in Randolph for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and collecting frogs.
She is survived by her son, Ralph P. Danforth Jr. of Halifax; two sisters, Evelyn Brown of Mansfield and Marie DeFinis of Yarmouthport; five grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. She was mother to the late David Danforth.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday in Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8 pm.
