John P. “Jesse” Gesimondo Jr. 68, of Boston, MA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 22, 2021 in Newburyport, MA. Jesse was the devoted father of John P. Gesimondo III of San Francisco, CA, Eric D. Gesimondo of New York, NY, and Brad M. Gesimondo of New York, NY, former husband of Janine M. Gesimondo of Naples, FL and brother of Theresa LaFord and her husband Jack of West Newbury, MA and Joseph Gesimondo of Casco, ME.
Jesse was the long time owner of Jesamondo Salon & Spa of Natick, founded in Wellesley in 1980. He graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in business and was a dedicated fan of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. Jesse was a self taught woodworking craftsman and created countless pieces of beautiful furniture for his family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and listening to music from the Woodstock era.
Friends of Jesse are invited to join his family at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home at 477 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA 02482 on Monday, April 26 from 4 to 6 in the evening. Funeral services will be private.
