Obituary

Richard A. Figueroa, 53, of Boston, passed away on April 21, 2021. Funeral Services at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Monday, April 26 from 5PM until 7PM. Richard Antonio Figueroa was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Born in Bronx New York to parents Jose Antonio Figueroa and Gumersinda Rivera on September 2, 1967. A servant of God, a family man with a humble and kind heart. He would do anything and everything for those he loved and even for those he just met. Loved and lived for his children Misael, Richard Jr., Erick and Carlos. He held the memories he made with each of them close to his heart and reminisce daily. Served in the Massachussettes National Guard for 9 years and was honorably discharged in 1998. He loved working on cars. An inventor and fixer upper, many knew him as “McGyver”. He loved music, was creative as a DJ back in the days but recently his love for God let him to create music for his Savior Jesus Christ. Well loved by family and friends in Massachussettes, New York, Puerto Rico, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Dominican Republic. He left his mark of goodness every where and always had his way making everyone laugh. He will be missed. He will be loved. He will always be remembered. All attendees are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
