Worcester/Hyannis: Elex "Andy" Taylor, 58, of Worcester and Cape Cod passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the home of his sister surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Andy is survived by his sister Linda Fisher of Hyannis; four nieces, Valerie Fisher and Melissa Fisher of Worcester, Nicole Fisher and Jennifer Pacheco of Hyannis; nephew Jesse Hartz of Hyannis. Andy was also a fantastic uncle to his many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Laura and Elex Taylor, his three brothers Keith, Mark, and John Taylor; and his niece Monique Fisher.
Andy worked for many years as a cab driver for the Yellow Cab Company. He enjoyed taking walks, riding his bicycle, sitting around the campfire, and spending time at the beach. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his family. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 10a.m- 12 noon in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home.
