Phillip Clyde Parker, Sr.

Pastor at New England Pentecostal Church

BOSTON Mr. Phillip Clyde Parker, Sr., 56, a longtime Lowell resident, died on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston after 20 years of battling his chronic illness.

Mr. Parker was born on September 29, 1964 in Lowell and was a son of the late Rev. William James Parker and Rose Mary Parker. After his mother passed away he was raised by Eleanor Chirstmas Parker and was educated in Boston and later in Lowell.

As a devoted member of New England Pentecostal Church in Pelham, NH, he was ordained as a pastor of the church recently and was a member for over 30 years.

Most recently, Mr. Parker worked with ATI Floform Products in the metal fabrication field. Previously he worked for Coca-Cola, UPS and Batesville Casket Company. In his spare time he enjoyed golf, bowling and basketball.

He is survived by his five children with Vickie Parker; Justin Parker of Malden, Phillip Parker of Boston, Myles Parker of Florida, Tenesha Scarlett of Tewksbury and Darrell Horne and his wife, Brayerlis, of Nashua, NH, five siblings; Sherry R. Scott, Charmane Lucas, Anthony Parker, David M. Scott, and David E. Parker; recently married wife Cassandra Parker and seven grandchildren, Da’zya, Linton, Misaylis, Alexander, Declan, Darrell Jr, and Amyrah,

While practicing social distancing guidelines and wearing a mask, you are invited to his visitation from 9 until 10 a.m. on Saturday at New England Pentecostal Church, 955 Bridge Street, Pelham, NH 03076.

His funeral service will be held immediately following his visitation in the church, all are welcome. A funeral procession will follow for his burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
