Rosemary started as a "lunch lady" in the Boston Public Schools. She worked her way up the "ladder" via civil service exams and became the principal's secretary at the Solomon Lewenberg Middle School in 1984. Over the next 10 years the administration had great success. The principal at that time, Thomas O'Neill, stated " Rosemary was an integral part of that success." He attributes Rosemary's "organization skills, her ability to work with people, her innate intelligence, her talent for figuring out his terrible handwriting, and her talent at letting you know you were wrong about something without sarcasm were all indispensable" per Mr. O'Neill." He added "quite simply she made the school a better place to teach and learn." She retired from the Boston Public Schools in 2006 after 30+ years of service

Rosemary will be sorely missed by all her loving family and friends.
