Vera Anderson, 90, of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, April 17, 2021, after a short battle with lung cancer. Vera was born in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1949. A longtime resident of Shoreview, MN, Vera was a member of the VFW Post 7555 and American Legion Post 39.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Reynold & Vera; Siblings, Rey, Walt, Katherine; Daughter, Marki; Granddaughter, Janelle; Husband of 49 years, Jack (John); and Special Friend, Wyn.
Survived by: Sons, Jerry (Joanne), Walt (Sheila), Bob (Cathy), Jeff (Kris); Grandchildren, Michelle (Steve), Joel (Cheryl), Jessica, Mike (Nyki), Christine (Curt), Brad, Kelly, Jake, Brian, Jenny, & Will; as well as 8 Great Grandchildren
A celebration of Vera’s life will be held on Friday, April 30th at The American Legion Post 39
2678 7th Ave East, North Saint Paul from 5:30-8:00pm.
