Obituary


Brian Joseph Walsh, Jr., 35, originally of Woburn, MA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18 at his home in Stoneham.

Brian is survived by his parents, Brian and Mary (D`Agostino) Walsh of Woburn, his sister, Rachel Walsh and her partner Craig DeRosa of Framingham and his brother Stephen Walsh and his wife Lauren of Manchester, CT. Brian is also survived by his longtime companion Stephanie and her daughter, Domenica. Brian is predeceased by his dear brother Matthew Kevin Walsh.

Brian is the grandson of Samuel R. D`Agostino and the late Frances (Sweeney) D`Agostino of Burlington, Rita Walsh of Winchester, and the late Patrick F. Walsh. He is also survived by many, many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him deeply.

Brian graduated from Woburn High School in 2004, and through his years of school, youth soccer, baseball, basketball, and Pop Warner Football, he made many tremendous friendships that have remained strong and true for all these years.

He was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union Local 40 for six years. As an accomplished craftsman, his legacy will live on in the many projects he completed in the Boston area over the years.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Monday, April 26th, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd, Woburn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, from 3 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. All attending the services must wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing protocols.
