Donald William Slade 12/30/1939-4/16/2021
Donald W. Slade died peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was 81.
Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Elliott Slade and Dorothy Corcoran Slade of Milton. He was the beloved brother of Lowell Slade, Diane Rennick, Joanne Waugh, and the late Elliott Slade, Janice Slade and Ronald Slade. He is also survived by three loving nephews and a niece: Michael Slade, Ronald Rennick, Steven Rennick and Lisa Keough.
Donald attended school in Milton, MA and later continued his education in real estate. He was very passionate about his business endeavors. He owned and helped manage multiple properties and unique operations including a gambling cruise ship during his career. In addition, he was highly skilled in various trades including carpentry, plumbing and mechanics. His hobbies included waterskiing, playing chess and spending time with his cherished cat. He will be fondly remembered for his intelligence, superior problem solving skills and his calm and patient demeanor.
Interment of ashes will be private.
