Peter Regas, 52, of Springfield, MA, was called to God on Friday April 16, 2021. He was born on August 15, 1968 in Brockton, MA, a son of Charles Regas and the late Pauline (Dinopoulos) Regas. Peter was a graduate of Brockton High School in Brockton, MA. He worked at Lowell General Hospital for 14 years, was a HVAC technician, and most recently worked as a Mechanic for the City of Springfield. He was a hard worker, with a positive attitude, always willing to help everyone. He was kind, compassionate, generous to a fault, and will be remembered for his huge smile. Peter loved camping, vacations, the ocean, and spending time with his loved ones.
In addition to his father of Andover, MA, Peter is also survived by his wife, Suzanne of Springfield, two sons, Dimitrios Regas and Alexander Regas, both of Lowell, MA; two brothers, Thomas Regas of Peabody, MA, and George Regas of Billerica, MA; four stepchildren, Robert Patnaude III, Sean Patnaude, and Renee Patnaude, all of Derry, NH, and Sharee Patnaude of Merrimack, NH; his two beloved cats, Nola and Rocky, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
A walk-through wake with masks, social distancing, and limited interaction with the family will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
