Robert L. Bradford, Sr., 82, of Gray, Georgia, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Jay Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Bradford was born October 8, 1938, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Leon & Vera Bridges Bradford. He was a 1956 graduate of Irwin County High School. Mr. Bradford was an engineer and retired after 35 years working for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed working and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Bradford was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Padgett Bradford of Gray; two sons: Robert L. Bradford, Jr. and Michael Scott Bradford; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Lamar Bradford and a sister, Virginia Williams.
